I just started my 12 year old chihuahua on the Wild Kangaroo entry and she is excited about eating as soon as I start making her dinner. She use to just nibble throughout the day and now she is finally on a regular eating schedule. She loves it and I love that she is eating a great high quality food.

    • Thank you for your feedback Barbara! Kangaroo is our #1 Selling Product with dogs and cats.

Maggie is a 21 month old bull terrier. She was on Zignature brand kangaroo formula dry kibble and also the canned kangaroo which I use as a topper (2 T spoons). Recently the canned was not shipped through “Chewy” autoship-I was told a source issue was the problem.
I researched for other suppliers of the kangaroo dog food and found Koha on the internet. I ordered a case directly from Koha even though I was a little reluctant because mussel was one of the ingredients. I am happy to report she adapted to the
Koha formula with success. This is no easy accomplishment for a breed that is very allergy prone and has to stay true to a limited ingredient diet. Thank you Koha for a fabulous product. I told Chewy about Koha-they need to have another source of high quality kangaroo food for their customers . Many thanks for keeping Maggie healthy and happy!! Pam H

    • Hi Pamela, Thank you for your feedback. I hope you’ve had the chance to try other novel proteins in our line. I would suggest doing a rotation diet.
As always, we’re here if you need anything!

This food literally saved Giza’s life. She has IBD with PLE. After a steady diet of this we are weaning her from medication. She is now totally without steroids and we are also weaning the other immune suppressant drug. She has had normal blood work since February. This is nothing short of a miracle. The last time I was in need of Koha I could not find it anywhere. The company very generously shipped it to me from the warehouse. She is very picky and will only eat from the small cans. I see that you still have no small cans available online and I feel like you probably are not going to produce them. I think as I am facing the purchase of more food I will have to try the big cans which she usually will not eat after they’re opened. She’ll eat the first meal that then the rest she doesn’t want to touch. I may try using a food sealer machine to vacuum pack it. I have to do something, I have to try everything because Koha seems to be the only food that she consistently eats and that helps maintain her protein levels. Thank you so much for this product I hope that I can work it out on my end.

Pi has been on this food for awhile now. I truly believe that’s why he is still w/ us!!
We guess he’s 19 since he is s rescue. We have had him 17 yrs.
fought Cancer twice, Colitis, recently has gone blind due to cataract, which he is too old to operate on.
This food he enjoys which is important since he is super finicky.
He had rebounded since his diet has changed to this.
More vets should suggest this line of products, so thankful Pi’s vet did!!!
Thank you, keep making this food,

I had been raw feeding my poodle and I do hope to go back to that some day. However she has developed some significant ear fungus that keeps coming back after treatment. We are trying to see if it is a food allergy by elimination. So I am feeding her a single protein at a time and I started with Kangaroo. She will eat the Kangaroo Entree and I feel good about the ingredients in this product. That’s a pretty good testament as the change was significant for her.

My toy poodle is very hard to feed. Her stomach cramps easily. Most of the time she avoids eating. I work hard to entice her to get her started. I opened the kangaroo can set it down and she ate on her own. However, she does not do it with every meal of kangaroo. For regular dogs I think it would be great,

Amazing product! My fur-babies LOVE this stuff. Not watery as I was expecting. Love that the kangaroo is the first ingredient and no lentils, peas, etc that mine cannot tolerate! We have blown through EVERY protein here (including frog legs) and was thrilled to find this! One of my fur babies had surgery and still has a way to go, but I needed something to get her to take her meds with since she didn’t want to eat. This has been a life saver, literally! Very, very thankful for this.

I have been using the wild kangaroo because my dog has severe allergies. Hoping this works. He loves the food! Inhales it. I also like that it is potato and pea free. The food is pricy but if it eliminates all the visits to the vet and medications it is worth it. I may try my other little one on the Turkey Stew, she does not have allergies and loves stews.

Have a 3 year-old Havanese who has a very dry, flaky coat and occasional hotspots. My Veterinarian suggested Omega 3 or Krill oil and we even tried Royal Canin dog food with Skin Support. My Veterinarian also suggested I try a novel protein that my dog had never tried before. Bought some cans of Wild Kangaroo Entrée at the pet store and my dog loves the taste! After 3 week’s her coat is 80% better and she only scratches a bit now and have not encountered a hotspot

They do not advertise Koha as an allergy free dog food. But the fact that there is no grain or potato was the strongest reason in the world to try it for my boxer who like many other boxers have dry irritated skin. I tried just about every brand out there including Purina, Hills, Natural Balance, Nature’s Recipe and countless others. I now use grizzly salmon oil and KOHA Kangaroo and her hotspots are gone. Hope this miracle continues on forever. This food is hard to find and costly but well worth it
